Mizar is a second-magnitude star in the handle of the Big Dipper asterism in the constellation of Ursa Major. 


officially named Alioth , is, despite being designated "ε" (epsilon), the brightest star in the constellation of Ursa Major

Omuamua -The Interstellar Object

21 December-the day of the solstice- is the day where we saw the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn.  But some curious minds will think that what is the conjunction?  In astronomy, a conjunction occurs when any two astronomical objects (such as asteroids, moons, planets, and stars) appear to be close together in the sky, as observed from Earth If two objects have the same right ascension or the same ecliptic longitude, they are considered to be in conjunction with one another.
